Cinemusic

The Dohnányi Orchestra of Budafok embarked on a special project on December 5, 2011 at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall at the Palace of Arts. The concert organised by Klasszik Radio will feature a selection of the best of film music, with favourites like Titanic and Star Wars, the Pirates of the Carribean and A Kind of America. Guest stars will include Vera Tóth with songs from Lion King and Shrek, and André Vásáry with Once upon a Time in the West, accompanied by the Academic Choral Society and the Dohnányi Orchestra, with Gábor Hollerung conducting. Cinemusic will provide the special experience of showing the clips along with the music, creating a live connection between film and music for the audience.
